Overview
From January 2020 until May 2023, Omar conducted research in the Tissue Engineering and Microphysiological Systems (TEMPS) Lab under the direction of principal investigator, Dr. Mark J. Mondrinos in the Department of Biomedical Engineering. The TEMPS Lab collaborates through the Tulane Institute for Integrative Engineering for Health and Medicine (TI2EHM), an interdisciplinary research institute, as well as the Tulane University School of Medicine.
As of August 2023, Omar is conducting research in the Nano Detection Lab under the direction of principal investigator, Dr. Tony Hu.
